Vanilla Pudding with Marinated Strawberries

The perfect vanilla pudding with marinated strawberries recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Pck. Vanilla flavored custard powder
  • 40 g Sugar
  • 500 ml Milk
  • 2 tbsp Elderflower syrup
  • 250 g Creme fraiche Cheese

Marinated strawberries

  • 300 g Cleaned strawberries
  • 1 tbsp Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Elderflower syrup
  • Some fresh mint leaves

Also:

  • Fresh whipped cream for decoration
  • 6 small Mint leaves
  • 6 small whole Strawberries
  1. First cook the pudding according to the package instructions or prepare it according to your own recipe. Pour into a mixing bowl and immediately stir in the creme fraiche and elderflower syrup. Put cling film directly on the hot pudding to avoid skin. Let cool down.
  2. Now whip the cold pudding with a mixer or whisk until creamy. Then pour into dessert glasses and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  3. Approx. Cut the 300 g strawberries into slices 30 minutes before serving. Mix together lemon juice and elderflower syrup, add the strawberries, stir carefully. Put in a cool place. Just before serving, add the mint, cut into fine strips. (Amount to taste).
  4. It can be served. Spread the strawberries on the pudding. Put a cream tuff in the middle, then a strawberry and a mint leaf.
  5. It’s a wonderfully fresh strawberry dessert with a special touch.
