semolina soup

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 50 g chicken breast or turkey
  • 150 ml water
  • ½ tsp spinach, frozen (you can also do without)
  • 1 tbsp carrot(s), finely grated
  • 2 tbsp semolina (wheat semolina)
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

from about 10 months, my son finds it delicious

Wash the chicken breast or turkey, dice finely, add it to the water, add salt if desired, bring to a boil, and simmer for 30 minutes over low heat, using a hand blender to break up the meat pieces. Add the carrot and spinach, stir in the semolina slowly, stir well again, and bring to a boil. Remove from the heat and let stand, covered, for 5 minutes. The soup should ideally have the consistency of a runny porridge; you may need more or less semolina – but be careful with the amount, as it swells considerably.
