Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g minced meat
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red or green
  • 1 tomato(s)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 50 g bacon, smoked diced
  • 250 g frozen vegetables, mix with corn, peas and carrots
  • 100 g tomato paste
  • 500 ml broth
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • Parsley, freshly chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • curry powder
  • Maggi
  • oregano
  • marjoram
  • 150 g rice

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Minced meat pan with vegetables and rice

Dice or strip the bell pepper, tomato, and onion and set aside. Whisk together the sauce with the following ingredients: 100g tomato paste, chili, paprika, curry, pepper, salt, oregano, marjoram, cornstarch, stock, parsley, mustard, milk, oil, and a dash of Maggi. Brown the minced meat, add the onion, tomato, bell pepper, and frozen vegetables, and fry briefly. Then add the rice, toss briefly, and then deglaze with the previously mixed sauce. Let the whole thing simmer for about 15-25 minutes, depending on the type of rice. Add the smoked bacon cubes for the last 5 minutes. This is a super quick and delicious dish. We usually serve it with cucumber or tomato salad.
