Sesame – Orange – Honey – Dressing

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 large orange(s)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds, roasted
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 pinch of chili powder
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • ½ onion(s)
  • 1 tsp curry powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Dressing for raw vegetable salads with an “Asian spin”

Finely chop the garlic and onion. Juice the orange and mix with the onion and garlic. Now add the remaining ingredients and mix everything well. It is ideal if the dressing can sit for a few hours. The dressing can also be used as a marinade for chicken, fish or meat, which should be left to sit for 8-10 hours. The basic ingredients can be changed according to taste and additional flavors can be added. You can use broth instead of soy sauce, sugar instead of honey, vinegar instead of lemon juice, and pepper instead of chili. If you don’t like the sesame-orange flavor or the garlic, simply leave the ingredients out or add or replace them with others, e.g. rosemary instead of sesame.
