Pancakes with sesame

First, toast the sesame seeds in a nonstick pan without oil until fragrant. Remove from the pan and let cool. In the meantime, combine the flour, milk, egg, salt, and vanilla sugar to form a pancake batter. Add the cooled, toasted sesame seeds, mix well again, and let the batter stand for 10-15 minutes. Heat a little oil in a small pan (the size of a fried egg) and fry small pancakes. This amount of batter will yield about 4 small pancakes. To keep them warm, place the baked pancakes in an oven preheated to about 80-100°C. Arrange the sesame pancakes attractively on plates, drizzle with honey, and serve with applesauce, if desired. Baked as small pancakes, they make a delicious, healthy dessert. If you increase the amount of batter, you can make larger pancakes and enjoy them as a sweet main course.
