- 200 g flour
- 140 g butter
- 70 g brown sugar
- 1 egg(s)
- 200 g sesame seeds
- 70 g honey
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes
Christmas cookies, for a baking tray of 20 x 30 cm
Knead the flour, butter, sugar, and egg into a dough and chill for 60 minutes. Roll out the dough on a 20 x 30 cm baking sheet lined with baking paper. Toast the sesame seeds in the butter and stir in the honey. Quickly spread it over the dough and bake for 20 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius (top/bottom heat) on the middle rack. Cut into diamond shapes while still warm.
