- 20 g Yeast fresh
- 1 tbsp Sugar, 1 teaspoon salt
- 400 Size Flour
- 1 tbsp Beet syrup
- 200 ml. Lukewarm water
- 150 g Sesame
- 400 Size Flour
- Warm the milk with the cream, milk and butter to lukewarm.
- Crumble the yeast, add salt and sugar and wait approx. 5 minutes.
- Add flour and knead into a dough.
- Shape the dough into a ball and roll it out as round as possible on a lightly floured work surface (diameter approx. 50 cm.). Cut eight triangles with a pizza cutter (see photo).
- Roll up each triangle from the broad side to the narrow side. Always pull the dough a little long.
- Dissolve the sugar beet syrup in the lukewarm water. Pour the sesame into a bowl (you may need a little more sesame).
- First dip the rolls in the sugar beet water and then roll them completely in sesame seeds.
- Place the sesame sticks on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Put the tray in the cold oven and set it to 70 degrees, fan-assisted. Wait 15 minutes. After the 15 minutes set to 200 degrees and bake the sesame sticks for about 20-25 minutes.
