Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 300 g sugar
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 cup(s) hazelnuts
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 cup(s) coffee, cold
  • 3 m.-sized eggs
  • 180 g butter, melted
  • Amaretto or rum flavoring

Instructions

Working time approx. 7 minutes; Total time approx. 7 minutes

Nut cake

Mix all dry ingredients thoroughly in a bowl. Then add the remaining ingredients and shake vigorously several times in a tightly covered bowl until all ingredients are well blended. Stir everything thoroughly again with a wooden spoon, ensuring that the dry ingredients from the edges are mixed in. Pour the batter into a greased Bundt cake pan and bake at approximately 170 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for about one hour (convection oven). Sprinkle the finished cake with powdered sugar, if desired.
