Sheep Cake

The perfect sheep cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

For the dough

  • 250 g Butter
  • 250 g Sugar
  • 4 piece Free range eggs
  • 350 g Spelled flour
  • 1 Teaspoon (level) Baking powder

For the casting

  • 200 g Butter
  • Sugar to your taste

For the dough

  1. Mix flour with baking powder.
  2. Make the eggs frothy with the sugar. Stir in the softened butter. Add the flour by spoonfuls.
  3. Until a slightly tough dough is formed.
  4. Spread the dough on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Or grease the baking sheet well.
  5. Preheat the oven to 160 fan speed.
  6. Bake the cake on the middle rack for about 20 minutes, depending on the oven.

The casting

  1. Heat the butter in a saucepan.
  2. When the cake is ready (chopsticks test) pour the butter over it, sprinkle with the sugar and bake for another 3-4 minutes.
  3. Enjoy it for you.
