Sheep Cake
The perfect sheep cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
For the dough
- 250 g Butter
- 250 g Sugar
- 4 piece Free range eggs
- 350 g Spelled flour
- 1 Teaspoon (level) Baking powder
For the casting
- 200 g Butter
- Sugar to your taste
For the dough
- Mix flour with baking powder.
- Make the eggs frothy with the sugar. Stir in the softened butter. Add the flour by spoonfuls.
- Until a slightly tough dough is formed.
- Spread the dough on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Or grease the baking sheet well.
- Preheat the oven to 160 fan speed.
- Bake the cake on the middle rack for about 20 minutes, depending on the oven.
The casting
- Heat the butter in a saucepan.
- When the cake is ready (chopsticks test) pour the butter over it, sprinkle with the sugar and bake for another 3-4 minutes.
- Enjoy it for you.
