Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg potatoes, cooked, mashed
  • 500 g minced meat, half and half
  • 1 large onion(s), finely diced
  • 400 g tomatoes, peeled (can)
  • 200 g fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp cream
  • 1 tsp parsley, chopped
  • 1 pinch of marjoram
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch rosemary
  • some butter for the mold
  • n. B. Butter cut into flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Sauté the onions in 25g melted butter. Add the minced meat and fry. Season with salt, pepper, marjoram, and rosemary. Then add the tomatoes and their juices and simmer for a few minutes. Then set aside. Sauté the mushroom slices in 25g melted butter, stir in the parsley, and season with salt, pepper, cream, and Worcestershire sauce. Grease a round baking dish with butter. Pour the minced meat mixture into the baking dish, then the mushroom slices and finally the mashed potatoes on top. Place knobs of butter on the pie and place in the preheated oven. Bake for 10 minutes at 200°C, then switch to top heat and bake for another 5 minutes.
