Shish Kebab in Homemade Sauce

The perfect shish kebab in homemade sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

For the skewers:

  • 400 g Schnitzel meat
  • 1 Pc. Onion red
  • 1 Pc. Red peppers
  • 1 Pc. Green peppers
  • 1 Pc. Yellow peppers
  • 100 g Bacon mixed, sliced

For the sauce:

  • 30 ml Oil
  • 1 Pc. Onion red
  • 200 g Paprika
  • 0,5 tsp Salt
  • 0,5 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 400 g Tomato paste
  • 1 tsp Curry powder
  • 1 tsp Sweet paprika powder
  • 1 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 2 tbsp Maple syrup

For the skewers:

  1. Cut the schnitzel and peppers into 4 cm pieces. Peel and halve the onions and peel off the individual layers. Cut the shells obtained in this way into pieces of about 4 cm. Cut the bacon slices into slightly larger pieces and form small rolls.
  2. Now skewer the ingredients and bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.

For the sauce:

  1. Dice the onion and the colored paprika and sauté in a pan with a little oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Simmer to the sauce.
