Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 tbsp black pepper from the mill
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp Paprika powder, hot, Hungarian
  • 2 tbsp sweet paprika powder, Hungarian
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds
  • 2 tsp marjoram, dry, shredded
  • 2 tsp basil, dry, shredded
  • 2 tsp coriander seeds
  • 1 tsp nutmeg, freshly grated
  • 2 tsp garlic granules
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 2 tbsp sea salt, preferably coarse

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

for skewers or shashlik roasts like at the fair

Tip: Make double or triple the amount to keep in stock. You can either grind all the ingredients individually and then mix them together, or put everything in a small food processor and grind them together. If stored in an airtight container, the aroma will last for a very long time.
