Kebab with Yogurt and Tomato Sauce

The perfect kebab with yogurt and tomato sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

kebab

  • 1 piece Tomato
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 0,5 bunch Parsely
  • 500 g Lamb minced meat
  • 2 tsp Oregano
  • 3 tsp Chili
  • 1,5 tsp Salt
  • 1 piece Clove of garlic
  • 1 Msp Pimento
  • 1 piece Egg

Yogurt sauce:

  • 500 g Yogurt
  • 1 piece Clove of garlic
  • 1 pinch Salt

Tomato sauce:

  • 3 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 200 ml Tomato juice
  • 6 piece Dried tomatoes
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper
  • 0,5 tsp Oregano
  • 1 shot Extra virgin olive oil

For the kebab

  1. Clean the tomato and cut into small cubes. Peel and grate the onion. Chop the parsley into small pieces. Then mix everything with the remaining ingredients, place on the skewers and press down. Grill in the oven under the grill function for 10 to 15 minutes.

For the yogurt sauce

  1. Peel and squeeze the garlic clove, mix with the yoghurt and season with salt.

For the tomato sauce

  1. Put all ingredients in a saucepan and mix well, bring to the boil briefly and then simmer for 10 minutes.
  1. Preheat the plates and put a yoghurt mirror on each one. Remove the kebab from the skewer and place on the mirrors. Pour the tomato sauce over the kebab.
