Shrimp curry

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 onions
  • 20 g ginger root
  • 4 beef tomatoes, or 1 can chopped tomatoes
  • 1 Pepper
  • 1 tsp. clove powder
  • 1 pinch of cardamom powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • Oil, for frying
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 600 g king prawns, peeled, raw
  • 1 pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 3 tbsp spice mix (garam masala)
  • 4 dl fish stock
  • 180 g natural yogurt

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Finely chop the onions and grate the ginger. Dice the tomatoes. Slice the chili peppers lengthwise into thin strips. Briefly fry the clove powder, cardamom, and cinnamon in oil. Press in the garlic and add the ginger. Add the onions and shrimp and fry briefly. Sprinkle with cayenne pepper and garam masala. Add the tomatoes, chili peppers, and fish stock. Simmer for about 10 minutes. Serve with yogurt.
