Ingredients

  • 8 Kohlrabi - small tubers or less large ones
  • 250 g Mushrooms
  • 1 Shallot
  • 4 strips Bacon
  • Salt, pepper, paprika

Instructions

  • Peel the cabbage, cut a little straight at the bottom (standing surface) and hollow out from the other side (ball cutter). Then cook the kohlrabi in well-salted water until almost soft, save the hollowed out contents for soup etc.
  • Clean the mushrooms, quarter them and fry them in a little clarified butter. Cut the bacon into narrow strips, finely dice the shallot, add both to the mushrooms. Season with salt, pepper and paprika.
  • Remove the kohlrabi from the cooking water and fill with the mushroom mixture. Serving.
  • In the season it is also delicious with porcini mushrooms.
