Side Dish: Potato Biscuits

The perfect side dish: potato biscuits recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 800 g Floury potatoes
  • 2 Pc. Eggs
  • 50 g Food starch
  • 1 pinch Nutmeg
  • 1 Pc. Diced onion
  • 150 g Diced breakfast bacon
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped parsley
  • 0,5 bunch Freshly chopped chives
  • 2 tablespoon Flour
  • Salt pepper
  1. Wash the potatoes well, cover and cook in plenty of water for 25 minutes, drain, allow to cool slightly, peel and drive through the potato press. Stir the eggs and cornstarch into the cooled mass and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  2. Sauté the bacon and onions in hot oil and work with the parsley and chives under the potato mixture.
  3. Shape the mixture into biscuits and turn in flour. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the cookies over medium heat until golden on both sides.
