Siemens Cooker: Switch Child Safety On and Off

Turn child safety on and off on the Siemens cooker

The child lock can be activated within a few seconds.

1. Press the Siemens cooker’s main switch to switch it on.
2. On the stove is an icon with a hand and a square around it. Press and hold this icon for about 4 seconds.
3. A key on the stove should now light up for about 10 seconds. If this is the case, the childproof lock is active.
4. The childproof lock remains active as long as the stove is switched on. If it is switched off, the childproof lock is also deactivated.

Activate automatic child safety

In addition to the normal, there is also an automatic child lock. This is activated each time the cooker is switched off.

1. Turn on the stove and directly press and hold the clock icon for about 4 seconds.
2. Now press the clock symbol again briefly so that “c1” is displayed. Now select number 1 in the settings area.
3. Press and hold the clock icon again for about 4 seconds. The automatic childproof lock is now active.
4. To deactivate the function again, you must repeat the process and select number 2 in the settings area.
