Silesian Dumplings

The perfect silesian dumplings recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 kg Peeled potatoes freshly cooked
  • 3 tbsp Potato flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • Butter
  • Roasted white bread cubes
  1. Boil the potatoes, drain them and let them cool down a little, then press through the potato squeegee and add the salt and potato flour.
  2. From the mixture, shape the kettles with a few white bread cubes in the middle and let them steep in hot water for 20 minutes.
  3. Goes well with Silesian pork roast (see KB)
