- 4 rest Dumplings from boiled potatoes
- 30 g Branded butter
- 30 g Salt
- I confess: I always make a few more of my Silesian dumplings because they taste so good fried – my mother used to do it that way.
- It is very simple and works like this: cut the cold dumplings into thick slices, fry the butter in a large pan until it starts to brown. Now put the slices in and fry them golden yellow to golden brown on both sides. Add a pinch of salt – and a fine side dish is ready in no time at all.
- I served my “roasting dumplings” today with scrambled cheese eggs with a vegetable made from corn and green peas. These recipes are already in my cookbook.
