Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 tsp oil, sunflower oil
- 1 onion(s), diced
- 225 g beans or other pulses, cooked or from the can
- 100 g nuts, mixed, chopped
- 2 eggs, whisked
- 1 tsp yeast extract
- ½ tsp marjoram, chopped
- ½ tsp sage, chopped
- Salt and pepper, freshly ground

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Simple Bean & Nut Roast – Vegetarian
Heat the oil and fry the onions for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Mash the beans and mix with the onions and the remaining ingredients. Transfer to a small, well-greased loaf pan and bake in a preheated oven at 190 degrees Celsius for about 30 minutes. Let cool slightly, then turn out and serve instead of meat.
