Simple carrot vegetables

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g carrot(s)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ¼ liter vegetable broth
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 100 g sweet cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Wash, trim, and slice the carrots. Heat the oil in a pan, add the carrots, sprinkle with sugar, and fry while stirring. Add the stock and cook for 5-8 minutes. Mix the cornstarch with the cream and add to the vegetables. Then bring to a boil while stirring until the vegetables thicken.
