Simple malt beer rolls

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 10 g yeast, fresh, 1/4 cube
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 150 ml malt beer

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 35 minutes

Knead the ingredients into a dough and shape it into a log on a floured surface. Cut this log into four equal pieces. Place the rolls on a baking sheet and make a notch with the back of a knife. Cover and let the rolls rise for one hour. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius (425 degrees Fahrenheit). After one hour, brush the rolls with water and salt, if desired. Reduce the oven temperature to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) and bake for about 20 minutes.
