Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 125 g sugar
  • ½ packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 130 g margarine
  • 2 egg whites
  • 100 g sugar
  • 100 g almonds, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Mix the flour with the baking powder, sugar, and vanilla sugar. Add the egg yolk to the flour. Add the margarine and knead with your hands until you have a smooth shortcrust pastry. Line a baking sheet with baking paper. Press the shortcrust pastry flat with lightly floured hands. This amount of dough is enough for half a baking sheet. Beat the egg whites until stiff. Gradually add the sugar. Finally, fold in the chopped almonds. Spread the egg white mixture evenly over the shortcrust pastry. Bake on the middle rack of an oven preheated to 180°C (fan oven) until light brown. Once cooled, cut into 36 triangles.
