Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g potatoes, floury
  • 250 g sour cream or sour cream (20%)
  • 1 tbsp cream or coffee cream
  • 150 g cheese, grated
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 onion(s)
  • Herbs of your choice

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Finely chop the onion and garlic clove, mix with the cheese, cream, and herbs to make a sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Wash and peel the potatoes (just wash the new potatoes) and slice them into wafer-thin strips. Layer the potato strips in a buttered baking dish. Add a little more of the cheese sauce to every few layers, ending with about 1/3. Sprinkle with some fresh parsley or a mixed herb mixture. Bake the whole thing in the oven at 190°C (fan oven) for about 40 minutes. Variations: – Instead of cream and cream, use soy curd (liquid tofu or thickened soy milk). – Place thin apple slices (one apple) between the layers. – One or more layers of vegetables. – Omit the grated cheese and instead arrange mozzarella slices on top.
