Simple salmon roll

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 6 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 6 eggs
  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 200 g smoked salmon
  • salt and pepper
  • dill

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

for a baking tray

Whisk the eggs with the mayonnaise and season with salt, pepper, and dill. Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in an oven preheated to 180–200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 10 minutes, until the mixture is firm and slightly bubbling. Let cool. Spread the cream cheese (I usually use herb cream cheese or horseradish cream cheese) and the smoked salmon on top. Finally, slowly roll up from the long side and chill in the refrigerator. Slice before serving. I usually make two types of salmon rolls: this one and one with spinach. The color and flavor make a great addition to a buffet.
