Simple Spaghetti Napolitana

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 500g spaghetti
  • ½ onion(s)
  • 2 bell peppers, green
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 6 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • butter
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Finely chop the onion. Thinly slice the bell peppers. Dice the bacon and finely chop the garlic. Cook the spaghetti. Heat the olive oil and garlic in a pan over medium heat. When fragrant, add the onions and bacon. When the onions are soft and translucent, add the bell peppers and fry. Then stir in the ketchup. Add the cooked spaghetti, a little butter and the milk, and mix well. Season the spaghetti with salt and pepper to taste. Tip: You can also replace the ketchup with tomato paste and/or some passata. You can use diced bacon instead of sliced ​​bacon (quantity n.B.).
