French toast rolled with strawberries

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 slices of toast
  • 6 strawberries
  • 1 m.-sized egg(s)
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 4 tsp sugar
  • some butter
  • 4 tbsp Nutella or cream cheese

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 minutes; Total time approx. 14 minutes

French Toast Roll-Ups

Cut off the edges of the toast and roll out the bread thinly. Spread with Nutella or cream cheese. Wash the strawberries, slice them, and arrange them on the front edge of the toast. Roll up the bread. The spread will hold them together. Whisk the egg with the milk. Place the rolls in the egg mixture and turn them over to coat them on all sides. Heat the butter in a pan and fry the rolls, seam-side down first, then fry on all four sides until golden brown. Mix the cinnamon and sugar together and roll the hot rolls in the butter. Enjoy with cream, ice cream, or on their own.
