Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g wholemeal flour (emmer wholemeal flour)
  • 300 g water
  • 13 g salt
  • 14 g yeast
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 4 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 4 hours 40 minutes

Combine the ingredients to form a smooth, slightly sticky dough and let it rise for 2-3 hours, until it has doubled in size. Then roll it out almost like a cake, only thicker, and divide it into 6-8 pieces. Cover and let it rise for another 30-60 minutes, until it has doubled in size. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 220°C, bake for 5 minutes, and then bake for another 8-15 minutes, depending on the size.
