Six Pepper Steak

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 pieces of beef fillet steak (approx. 200 g each)
  • 1 tsp, levelled peppercorns, black
  • 1 tsp, levelled peppercorns, green
  • 1 tsp, leveled peppercorns, Szechuan
  • 1 tsp, chopped long pepper, red
  • 1 tsp, levelled peppercorns, white
  • 1 tsp, levelled peppercorns, red
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Oil, for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Roast the peppercorns in a pan for about 5 minutes. Then grind them with the sugar in a mortar and pestle. Turn the steaks cut-side down in the peppercorns and fry (about 5 minutes on each side). Serve with jacket potatoes, sour cream, and salad.
