Sliced cheese Vegan
The perfect sliced cheese vegan recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 100 g Parnuts
- 100 g Millet flakes or millet flour
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 2 tbsp Mild mustard
- 2 tbsp Tahini (white)
- 1 tbsp Tomato paste
- 1 tsp Sea-Salt
- Olive oil for the mold
- 100 ml Soy or rice drink
- 300 ml Water
- 10 g Agar-Agar (1 bag or 2 teaspoons)
- 4 Stalk Basil
- Finely grind the Brazil nuts (in the food processor) If there are no millet flakes: Grind the millet into flour
- Add the millet flakes (or the flour), lemon juice, mustard, tahini, tomato paste, salt, garlic and puree carefully.
- Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan. Add agar and cook for 2 minutes while stirring. Add to the pureed mass and stir well. Add the basil leaves and puree again. Pour the mixture into a plastic container coated with olive oil and place in the refrigerator overnight. Then loosen the edge with the knife and overturn the whole thing. Good Appetite!
