Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g lean pork (schnitzel or fillet)
  • 1 tbsp, leveled flour
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 garlic clove(s), finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 stalk(s) leek
  • 300 g mushrooms
  • 200 ml meat broth
  • curry powder
  • possibly fresh ginger, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes

For the marinade, mix 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of oil with the flour, garlic, pepper, and grated ginger. Cut the meat into thin strips and let it marinate for about 1 hour. Trim and wash the leek and cut into rings. Trim and finely slice the mushrooms. Heat the remaining oil in a pan. Add the meat strips and fry for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Add the leek and mushrooms and fry for another 5 minutes. Deglaze with the meat stock and the remaining soy sauce and simmer the minced meat over low heat for about 15 minutes. If using pork fillet, 10 minutes of cooking time is sufficient. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and curry powder. Serve with rice, noodles, or spaetzle, and salad.
