Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 kg sloes
- 500 g rock sugar, white
- 1 ½ liters of vodka
- e.g. vanilla pod(s)
- e.g. cinnamon
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Wash the sloes and pat dry. If they haven’t experienced frost yet, freeze them for about 24 hours, otherwise they will lose their flavor. Then combine the sloes, rock candy, and vodka in a sealable container and let it mature for 2 months. If desired, you can also flavor the liqueur with a vanilla pod or 1-2 cinnamon sticks. Shake briefly every now and then. Store in a cool, dark place. Then filter (e.g., through a coffee filter), bottle, and enjoy.
