Small Cola Cake …

The perfect small cola cake … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 140 Milliliters Cola
  • 125 g Butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 2 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 100 Milliliters Milk
  • 200 g Flour
  • 2 Teaspoon (level) Baking powder
  • 5 tablespoon Cocoa powder
  • Fat for the shape
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Powdered sugar
  1. Heat the cola with butter in a saucepan until the butter has melted. Allow to cool slightly.
  2. Mix the eggs with sugar, vanilla sugar and milk. Stir in the cola and butter mixture. Mix flour with baking powder, sieve over it. Sieve cocoa powder on top as well. Mix everything into a smooth batter.
  3. Grease a small ring cake tin (about 17 cm in diameter) and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Pour the batter into the mold. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes (chopsticks test). Remove from oven and allow to cool.
  4. Carefully tip out of the mold and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
