Smarties Cookies

The perfect smarties cookies recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Makes 30 pieces

  • 300 g Sugar
  • 20 g Beet syrup
  • 200 g Butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • 400 g Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 0,5 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Cinammon
  • 200 g Smarties
  1. Mix the sugar and beet syrup, add the butter and eggs, mix well with the mixer. Then add the flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon and stir for about 2 minutes. Finally add the smarties and mix again for 1 minute.
  1. Cut off the dough in portions with a tablespoon and roll it into balls in your hand. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper with sufficient space between them. Place 9 balls on a baking sheet.
  1. Bake the whole thing at 180 degrees in the preheated for about 15 minutes.
