Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 300 g meatloaf, sliced
- 300 g cheese, sliced (e.g. Emmental)
- 150 g tomatoes
- 6 gherkins, sweet and sour pickled
- 1 m.-sized onion(s)
- ½ jar cucumber juice
- some vinegar
- some salt and pepper
- some oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Cut the meatloaf and cheese into cubes or strips, as desired, and place in a salad bowl. Wash the tomatoes, chop them finely, and add them. Finely grate the gherkins and peeled onion into the other ingredients. Pour the gherkin juice over the ingredients. Season the sausage salad with vinegar, oil, pepper, and salt. It’s best to make the sausage salad the day before, as this allows it to marinate well and taste much better. Store it in the refrigerator and taste it again the next day before serving, adding more seasoning if necessary.
