Smoked pork in egg shell

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g smoked pork, boned, in one piece
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 2 eggs
  • Oil for frying
  • e.g. milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cut the piece of smoked pork into 4-6 slices. If desired, you can pour the milk into a shallow bowl and let the smoked pork slices soak for about 30 minutes to reduce their saltiness. Whisk the eggs. Remove the smoked pork slices from the milk, pat dry if necessary, and coat each slice in egg and flour. Repeat this process one more time. Then fry in hot oil for about 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown. We’re serving this with asparagus with hollandaise sauce and baked potatoes.
