Spicy minced meat pan

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • ¾ kg potatoes
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp salt and pepper
  • 2 onions
  • 1 gherkin(s)
  • 100 g bacon, streaky
  • 1 tbsp mustard, medium hot
  • 125 ml cream
  • 250 g minced meat, mixed
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Wash, peel, and dice the potatoes into 1cm cubes. Heat the fat, add the potatoes, season with salt and pepper. Cover and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally. Peel and finely dice the onions. Finely dice the cucumber and bacon. Whisk together the mustard and cream. Fry the bacon in a second pan until crispy. Add the minced meat, brown for 5 minutes, add the onions, and fry for another 2 minutes. Mix the minced meat, cucumber, and cream with the potatoes. Season with salt and pepper, and sprinkle with parsley. Serve with beetroot, mustard pickles, or lettuce.
