Smoked pork in puff pastry

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 g cream cheese with herbs
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp parsley, dried
  • 1 pc. puff pastry (frozen)
  • 750 g smoked pork, boneless
  • 1 egg(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Mix the herb cheese with the pepper and parsley thoroughly. Then roll out the puff pastry on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and spread the herb cheese mixture evenly. Place the meat on the pastry sheet and roll it in the dough, folding over the edges and pressing firmly. Score the top crosswise (in a checkered pattern) with a kitchen knife and brush with beaten egg. Then bake for about 45 minutes at 220°C. I recommend serving it with coleslaw.
