Smoked pork with potatoes and vegetables from the Roman pot

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g smoked pork, whole
  • 250 g potatoes
  • 250 g beans, green
  • 3 carrots
  • 1 onion(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • savory
  • Cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the smoked pork into bite-sized pieces. Cut the potatoes into wedges (skin on if you like). Trim the beans and cut them into lengthwise pieces, slice the carrots, and strip the onion. Place everything in a well-watered earthenware pot. Season generously with salt, pepper, and savory, and add cayenne pepper to taste. Drizzle with olive oil and mix well. Bake in the oven at 180°C for about 1 hour. Serve with a delicious salad.
