Smoked Salmon Tartar
The perfect smoked salmon tartar recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 400 g Smoked Scottish Salmon
- 250 ml Double cream
- 2 tsp Lemon juice
- 200 g Cream cheese
- 1 bunch Parsley
- 1 bunch Dill
- 1 bunch Chives
- 5 Pc. Slices of toast
- 2 Pc. Lemons
- Cut the salmon into fine strips (set aside 1 tablespoon as a garnish). Puree half of the salmon with the double cream and lemon juice in the cutter. Carefully fold in the cream cheese. Finely chop the parsley and dill and cut the chives into rolls. (Set aside 1 tablespoon as a garnish). Now fold the herbs and the other half of the salmon into the pureed mass and season with salt and pepper.
- Toast until golden yellow and cut in half diagonally. Brush with smoked salmon tartar while it is still lukewarm. Sprinkle smoked salmon strips and chives on top as a garnish. Cut wedges from the lemon and garnish with them.
