Instructions
Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
ideal for the World Cup or European Championship party, or a European evening
Make a dough with the minced meat, egg, breadcrumbs, mustard, chopped garlic, herbs, and spices, form into small balls, and fry in oil. If that’s too much work for you, or if you’re in a hurry, ready-made meatballs will do the trick. Put an olive and a meatball on toothpicks (olive on top) and arrange in a stripe on a platter. Then put a cocktail tomato and a Cabanossi on toothpicks (cocktail tomato on top) and arrange next to the black stripe. Finally, the yellow stripe: dice the cheese and bell peppers and arrange them on the platter (bell pepper on top). Decorate the edges of the platter with pepper, paprika, and curry powder. If you like, you can also use toothpicks with German flags on them.
