Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 5 egg yolks
- 5 tbsp water, warm
- 100 g sugar
- Lemon(s) – peel, grated
- 150 g flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 5 egg whites

The batter yields approximately 10 waffles. Whisk the egg yolks, add the water, sugar, and grated lemon zest. Combine the flour and baking powder, and add the remaining ingredients except the egg whites. Whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks form and fold into the batter. Preheat the waffle iron and bake the batter in batches for approximately 3 to 3.5 minutes each.
