Biscuit & Co: Hazelnut Chocolate Cookies

The perfect biscuit & co: hazelnut chocolate cookies recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 100 g Brown sugar
  • 150 g Soft butter
  • 4 Egg yolks or 2 eggs
  • 200 g Flour
  • 100 g Chopped hazelnut
  • Zest of half an orange
  • 1 tsp Orange water
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 75 g Chocolate droplets
  1. Beat the butter until frothy, add sugar and a pinch of salt and whisk vigorously. Add the eggs (I had the yolks left over from the cinnamon stars) and beat everything for about 2 minutes. Add flour and baking powder, orange zest and orange water and stir everything well.
  1. Finally fold in the chopped hazelnuts and chocolate drops. Use two teaspoons to place piles about the size of a walnut on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Makes about 2 trays. Bake in a preheated oven at 160 degrees Celsius for 20-25 minutes.
