Delicious soup for many occasions
Cut the meat, sausage, and pickles into approximately 1 x 1 cm cubes. Slice half an untreated lemon. If you don’t have any cooked meat broth, prepare instant broth. Finely dice the bacon and onions. Fry the bacon, then reduce the heat and fry the finely chopped onions in the rendered bacon until translucent. Be careful not to brown or burn them. Now add the pressed garlic, the meat, the pickles, the tomato paste, and the paprika and mix everything well. Fry for a few minutes while stirring, but not too hot so the paprika doesn’t burn. Now pour in the meat broth and let the soup simmer gently for about 20 minutes. At the end, add the prepared lemon slices and let it steep for a while. Stir in the cream and season with salt, pepper, and sugar. Serve with fresh white bread and a crisp salad. Tip: Make this the day before, as it tastes even better.
