Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g sausage, various leftover sausages
  • 2 glasses of leccho
  • 3 onions
  • margarine
  • 4 gherkins
  • 1 can sauerkraut
  • Condensed milk
  • salt and pepper
  • Sugar
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

the perfect soup

Thinly slice the sausage and onions, fry them in a pan with oil, thinly slice the gherkins and add them, fill with both jars of leccho, simmer for a while, then add the sauerkraut (drain any juice first), and cook for about half an hour. Season to taste with sugar, salt, and pepper. Serve on plates and add a dash of condensed milk, if desired.
