Sour cream cookies

Spread the love

Ingredients for 90 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 250 g sour cream
  • 500 g flour
  • 50 g sugar (granulated sugar)
  • some milk
  • 1 egg(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

makes 3-4 baking trays

Cream the butter until fluffy, add the sour cream and mix until smooth. Add the flour and knead everything well. Roll out the dough to about 0.5 cm thick and cut out round shapes, if possible (the cookies will brown very quickly during baking, so avoid sticking out corners). Whisk the egg and milk. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, brush with the egg wash, and sprinkle generously with sugar. Bake at 200°C for about 15 minutes. The cookies are done when they turn a light brown. If you prefer something less calorie-intensive, you can replace the sour cream and butter with 500 g margarine. It tastes almost the same (but only almost).
