Sour cream – processed cheese – potatoes

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1,200 g waxy potatoes (cook in their jackets)
  • 60 g clarified butter
  • 1 medium-sized onion(s), (finely diced)
  • 150 g ham, raw, lean (diced)
  • 2 tbsp, leveled flour
  • 300 ml vegetable stock
  • 300 ml milk
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ pack of processed cheese
  • ½ bunch parsley
  • some salt
  • some pepper, freshly ground
  • some nutmeg, freshly grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Boil the potatoes in salted water, drain, peel, and slice. Heat clarified butter in a large pan, fry the ham and onion cubes, dust with flour, and deglaze with stock and milk. Stir vigorously to prevent the flour from clumping. Stir in the cream cheese, season with nutmeg, pepper, and salt, stir in the sour cream, and let the potato slices sit for 5-10 minutes. Arrange on plates and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve with a fresh green salad.
