Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g veal liver
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 tbsp onion(s), finely chopped
  • 40 g flour
  • ¼ liter meat broth
  • ½ tbsp white wine vinegar
  • ¼ liter white wine
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Grandma’s recipe

Cut the prepared liver into thin slices. Sauté the diced onions in the butter over medium heat until light yellow. Add the liver and cook, stirring constantly, until the liver no longer appears bloody. Then add the flour and brown it. Deglaze with the broth, vinegar, and white wine, and season. Bring to a boil a few times.
