Sour Potato Wheels
The perfect sour potato wheels recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Roux (Brenne)
- 40 g Butter or lard
- 50 ml Vinegar
- 500 ml Water
- Salt pepper

- 1 kg Potatoes mainly waxy
- 6 Pc. Pickled cucumbers from the jar
- Vinegar to taste
- Boil the potatoes until tender. Cool and remove the pods. Cut into slices (wheels).
- Make a dark roux (Brenne) from the ingredients. You can find out how to do this under Brenne or Roasted Flour Soup
- Put the potato wheels in the fire. Heat but no longer boil. Cut the medium-sized pickled cucumbers into cubes and fold in at the very end, then add the sausages as desired.
- Season the sour wheels again with a little vinegar or the cucumber water and serve in deep plates.
