Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 4 tbsp milk
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 bell pepper(s), green
- 400 g minced meat, mixed
- 50 g desiccated coconut
- 3 tbsp parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 3 tbsp oil
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Mix the breadcrumbs with the milk, chop the onion, and trim and finely dice the bell pepper. Combine the breadcrumbs and milk, onion, bell pepper, spices, 3/4 of the coconut flakes, parsley, and tomato paste with the minced meat. Form 12 meatballs and coat them in the remaining coconut flakes. Fry in hot oil until golden brown. Mashed potatoes are the best accompaniment.
